The Art of the Glow: Spring Cleaning

Let’s be honest: by the time March rolls around, we’re all carrying a little extra "winter weight"—and I’m not talking about the scale. I’m talking about that dull, dry layer of skin that’s been hiding under sweaters and beanies for months. It’s time to shed the old and make room for the glow.

If you want a fresh start, you have to start with resurfacing. You can’t expect a million-dollar glow if you’re trying to apply it over a "zombie" complexion. Here is how we’re spring cleaning our routines this year.

1. Shed the Winter Layers

Winter skin is like a heavy wool coat—it served its purpose, but it’s time to take it off. This is the season for gentle but effective exfoliation. We want to sweep away the dead cells that are making your skin look "meh" and reveal the fresh, vibrant skin underneath. Think of it as a total system reboot for your face.

2. Out with the Old

Check your vanity. If that bottle of serum has been sitting there since last spring, it’s not "vintage"—it’s expired. Part of the Art of the Glow is knowing when to let go. Clear out the clutter, toss the products that don't serve your skin, and make space for what actually works.

3. In with the Glow

Once you’ve resurfaced and cleared the deck, it’s time to feed your skin. Spring is about light, airy hydration and brightening ingredients. We’re moving away from heavy barriers and stepping into "glass skin" territory. We want skin that looks like it’s been drinking sunshine and minding its own business.
